This Mother's Day, create something special at Nu Ceramics Studio! Celebrate love, creativity, and fun in this unforgettable experience. Join us for a One-Night Pottery Drop-In Class, where art enthusiasts and creators of all skill levels can get together for a relaxed evening of pottery-making with a Mother's Days theme! Join anytime during the blocked schedule (you don't have to be there at the start of class) and stay as long or as short as you'd like! This is self-guided time. The instructor will show you the basics of using the pottery wheel and working with clay--how you use the time is up to you. You can throw, hand-build, decorate, or play with the clay. Your instructor will answer questions and guide you through parts of the process but understand that this is a bare-bones basics class meant to be a low-pressure, fun experience. Class size may vary. There are 8 student wheels available, so if necessary, the group can alternate between wheel-throwing and hand-building. Keep in mind that because this is a one-night event, all pots will be glazed at the discretion of the studio tech and can be picked up two weeks after class. Small amounts of clay will be provided for each potter. Additional clay can be purchased in class for a fee.
